  • Clinical Nurse Job Details:
  • Perform variety of nursing care procedures requiring professional knowledge and consideration for specific patient conditions and treatments
  • Work independently in completing nursing assignments
  • Follow physician's orders, standards of care, nursing policies and procedures manuals, and hospital policies
  • Provide nursing duties and support to individuals of all ages and their families
  • RN license from any state is acceptable
  • Arizona state license not required
  • Must maintain current valid certifications throughout employment including:
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from American Heart Association
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from American Heart Association
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required within one year of hire
  • Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) required within one year of hire
  • Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) required within one year of hire
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) must be completed within 6 months of hire
  • Emergency Severity Index Level 5 within 3 months of hire
  • Patient Sitter Competency Training upon hire
  • Orientation occurs every 2 weeks
  • Limited shared housing available at $600 per month based on availability

Facility:
This JCAHO accredited health center serves a 4,400 square mile area and functions as a referral center for the western part of the Navajo and Hopi Reservations. The facility was constructed in 1975 with a 73-bed capacity and provides comprehensive inpatient/outpatient emergency services, dental and ophthalmology services, orthopedics, OB/GYN, oral surgery, eye surgery and urological procedures. Approximately 49% of surgeries performed are outpatient/ambulatory procedures. The medical staff includes diverse specialists and the nursing staff encompasses registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, nursing assistants, community health nurses, nurse practitioners, nurse midwives, CRNA, and community health medics.

Tuba City, AZ Located in Northwestern Arizona on the Colorado Plateau, this unique community offers a culturally rich environment serving Native American tribes including the Navajo, Hopi, and Southern Paiute. The semi-desert landscape varies in elevation from 4,400 to nearly 7,000 feet, creating a diverse and beautiful natural setting for healthcare professionals seeking a meaningful cultural experience.
