Part-Time Clinical Nurse (RN or LPN) -

Your Role & Responsibilities:

You will provide comprehensive clinical care for our patients, including:

Patient Care:

Clinical nursing care of our patients, including intake and triage

Testing:

Allergy skin testing (percutaneous, intradermal, patch), food allergy challenges, and lung function tests.

Specialized Testing:

Allergy skin testing (percutaneous, intradermal, patch), food allergy challenges, and lung function tests.

Advanced Treatments:

Administration of immunotherapy (allergy/venom) and biologics.

Education:

Empowering patients through detailed teaching and literature distribution.

Compliance:

Adhere to OSHA, HIPAA and government regulations

Qualifications:

Current Iowa RN or LPN licensure BLS certification Clinical Experience (minimum of 1-2 years). Clinical experience in allergy, asthma and/or immunology preferred, but not required. Education and Requirements Requires a current active Registered Nurse or LPN license in the State of Iowa. Patient teaching skills and ability to coordinate care for complex patients. Current

BLS CPR/AED

for Health Care Providers certification required. Must be a U.S. citizen or legally authorized to work in the United States. Physical Demands This position requires intermittent physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and lifting. The employee may lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Work Environment This job will require exposure to patient elements. Individuals in this role routinely use standard office equipment such as laptop and desktop computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
