Qualifications & Experience:

Current, active RN license in good standing Proven experience in Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg) nursing settings Strong clinical assessment, organizational, and communication skills Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams Familiarity with electronic medical records and standard Med-Surg protocols Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct, patient-centered nursing care to individuals in the Medical-Surgical unit Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and manage IV lines following established guidelines Coordinate with physicians and allied health professionals to plan and evaluate patient care Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic medical record system Educate patients and families on care plans and at-home management upon discharge Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety procedures, and regulatory standards
