Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-MS Job Type Contract Advance your nursing career in a fast-paced medical-surgical environment, supporting a diverse mix of patients, including post-surgical, orthopedic, trauma, and behavioral health populations. As an RN on this collaborative unit, you'll be part of a dedicated team equipped with modern technologies such as Alaris pumps, remote telemetry, wound vacs, and a user-friendly 12-Lead EKG machine. Your expertise will directly impact patient care on a 54-bed unit with strong teamwork and leadership support, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for professional growth.
Schedule Requirements:
Contract position At least one weekend within each 4-week period (may be split up) Flexible/block scheduling considered on a case-by-case basis
Qualifications:
Active RN license BLS certification (required); ACLS (optional, preferred) At least one year of recent medical-surgical experience Strong assessment, prioritization, and critical thinking skills Time management, organization, and a positive, proactive attitude Proven ability to work effectively within a team and adapt quickly in a dynamic setting
Key Duties:
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to a variety of medical, surgical, orthopedic, and spine patients Collaborate with RN/LPN teams, techs, externs, and ancillary staff for optimal patient outcomes Utilize Meditech for accurate and timely documentation Float within discretion of units if needed Follow unit-specific policies and hospital procedures Why Choose This Opportunity?
