DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assists in the orientation and training of all newly hired nursing staff. Communicates with nursing staff, families, physicians, Nursing Office and other Facility departments regarding patient status and unit needs. Coordinates with the Interdisciplinary Team on the plan of care for all patients. Participates in care conferences. Rounds to evaluate effectiveness of care delivery and performance of nursing staff. Rotating on call duties. May perform any of the duties of the staff nurse. Serves on appropriate committees as directed by the Director of Nursing. Supports with admissions. ESSENTIAL JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Licensure:

Registered nurse (RN) in the state of Michigan, preferred. Ability to recognize subtle changes in resident condition. At least two (2) years of experience in long term care, preferred.
