Robotic Welder - 2nd Shift

Chapter 2, Inc. is a full-service manufacturer specializing in precision manufacturing and engineering services. We are currently seeking to fill a Robotic Welding position in our Production Department on 2nd Shift. You will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining automated welding systems to produce high-quality welded components. Ensuring that robotic weld systems produce accurate, durable, and repeatable welds that meet the high standards of a precision manufacturing environment. Work is subject to process and final inspection. The job typically requires the ability to follow written instructions and read blueprint specifications.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols Operate large-scale CNC robotic welding machines Set up components for welding according to specifications Perform secondary work such as grinding and sanding between cycle times Follow all quality and safety requirements Assist with housekeeping and maintain a clean work area To monitor, carry out and abide by company policies. Candidate(s) should be a reliable and responsible individual, able to work independently and well with others. Must have excellent attendance record! Heavy lifting and standing is required.
