Over fifteen years ago a few progressive dairymen approached RMI to discuss dairy automation alternatives for their milking parlors. Out of these conversations Green Source Automation was born and our unique solutions have continued to evolve. The application of continuous-flow-production in the rotary parlor has been significantly impacted by our dairy robots and we have helped create some of the most efficient and productive dairies in history.Description:
The Service and Controls Technician is a dedicated first responder to any on-site issues, and the face of our company. Equipped with the tools needed and backed by a supportive team you will participate in all phases of our automated system's life cycle, including design, development, test, installation, start up, and continued support. The candidate will need to understand our system's benefits and be committed to the development, application and enforcement of our automated systems.Requirements:
Duties/Responsibilities:
Install, service, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair robots and corresponding systems Read and comprehend electrical and pneumatic schematics Use PLC based controls design, development, implementation, and support Prioritize and effectively manage multiple projects, and workload Troubleshoot electrical issues using wiring diagrams and test equipment Communicate effectively with customers, peers, management, contractors and vendors Focus on being self-motivated in an independent environment Computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work environmentOther Expectations:
Ability to be on-call Ability to work a flexible days and hours Accuracy and attention to detail in daily activities High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license Works well with othersJob Type:
