Job Description

Job Summary We are a fast-growing startup in the HVAC industry, dedicated to delivering cutting-edge solutions and exceptional service to our customers. We pride ourselves on innovation, reliability, and the highest standards of customer satisfaction. We are looking for a dedicated and Driven HVAC Rough in installer to join our team and help ensure the smooth installation of HVAC systems for our clients. The Rough in installer is the backbone of the process. This position involves installing the furnace and refrigerant lines, running all the return air ducting in the attic space, running all exhaust vent ducts in the home, cutting in the floor vents accurately ensuring it is ready for the next step. Key Responsibilities Furnace installation : Install the furnace to manufacturer specifications and local code. Correct coil pitch for proper drainage of condensate. Tie in supply and return ducting to ensure best airflow possible. Route refrigerant lines through crawl space or attic in shortest route possible with line insulation intact. Duct work : Route all return duct to minimize the number of bends and the least amount of sagging as possible. Ensure proper strapping every four feet and at every Tee Wye connection. Build required trunk lines per industry standard to meet duct blast requirements. Exhaust and venting : Cut through sheet rock, fire stops and roof with clearances to local code for B Vent. Running PVC sealed to withstand pressure test. Running dryer, range and exhaust fans and terminating either through the roof or sidewall in accordance to local codes. Cutting in floor for crawl space homes : Accurately cut in floor boots that will be sealed tight to the floor. Plan for the next step. Removing any framing to ensure a smooth crawl install.
Documentation & Reporting :
Maintain detailed record of materials added to existing order and report to management. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Great attitude and willingness to learn. Able to understand written and verbal directions. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Preferred but not a must. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and Background. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment (50 - 100 pounds). Comfortable working in various environments, including attics, crawls spaces, basements, rooftops, and outdoor locations. Ability to work in cramped or awkward spaces.
