RPA Business Analyst Apply for this job world-globe-glyph Millington, TN / Full-time Client Solution Architects (CSA) is currently seeking an experienced RPA Business Analyst to support an Advanced Intelligent Automation team delivering solutions for the U.S. Navy Personnel Command (NPC). This role focuses on analyzing, documenting, and optimizing business processes related to enlisted performance evaluations, and translating those processes into automation-ready requirements. The Business Analyst will work closely with RPA and Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) developers to ensure accurate data extraction, normalization, and validation through defined business rules. For nearly 50 years, CSA has delivered integrated technology and operational support services to meet the defense and federal sector's most complex enterprise needs. Working from operations centers and shipyards to training sites and program offices, CSA deploys experienced teams, innovative tools and proven processes to advance federal missions. How Role will make an impact: Business Process Analysis Analyze current-state processes for enlisted performance evaluation workflows (e.g., EVALs/FITREPs) Identify inefficiencies, gaps, and opportunities for automation Document as-is and to-be process flows, including decision points and exception handling Collaborate with Navy stakeholders to validate process understanding and requirements Requirements Elicitation & Documentation Gather and document functional and non-functional requirements for RPA and IDP solutions Translate business processes into clear automation logic and rule definitions Develop user stories, process maps, and acceptance criteria Ensure traceability between requirements, business rules, and implemented automations IDP & Data Processing Support Work with developers to define requirements for data extraction from evaluation documents using IDP tools Help establish data normalization standards across extracted fields Validate extracted data against expected formats and business context Business Rules & Validation Logic Define and document business rules to verify completeness and correctness of enlisted evaluation documents Support implementation of rule-based validation (e.g., required fields, formatting, scoring consistency) Assist in identifying edge cases and exception scenarios Testing & Quality Assurance Develop and execute UAT test cases focused on evaluation document processing Validate that automation outputs meet Navy business standards Support defect tracking, triage, and resolution Stakeholder Collaboration Act as liaison between Navy personnel SMEs and automation developers Facilitate workshops, working sessions, and demos Communicate progress, risks, and requirements clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences What you'll need to have to join our award-winning team:

Clearance :

Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Secret clearance 3-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in RPA or automation initiatives Familiarity with Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) concepts and tools Strong experience in business process mapping (BPMN, Visio, etc.) Ability to define business rules and validation logic in structured formats Experience working in government, DoD, or regulated environments Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills What Sets you apart: Familiarity with Navy personnel systems or enlisted evaluation processes (EVALs/FITREPs) Experience supporting document-heavy workflows and data extraction solutions Knowledge of data normalization and structured/unstructured data handling Active or previous security clearance ‍ This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee.
