Safety Coordinator

MAC Precision Concrete is looking for a Safety Coordinator to support ongoing data center construction projects in Childress, TX. This position will work directly with field leadership and our current onsite safety coordinator to help maintain a strong safety culture, ensure documentation is completed properly, and support daily field operations. This is a boots-on-the-ground construction safety role. Ideal candidates are organized, proactive, comfortable communicating with crews, and able to work in fast-paced industrial construction environments.

Responsibilities:

Conduct daily site safety walks and observations Assist with new hire orientations and safety onboarding Help ensure crews are following OSHA and site-specific safety requirements Assist with JHAs, pre-task plans, and excavation documentation Track and document incidents, near misses, and corrective actions Maintain safety paperwork and training records Coordinate with superintendents, foremen, and client safety personnel Help enforce PPE and site housekeeping standards Support toolbox talks and weekly safety meetings Assist with equipment inspections and compliance documentation

Requirements:

Construction safety experience preferred OSHA 30 required

OSHA 510/500

preferred but not required Ability to work onsite in active construction environments Strong communication and organizational skills Experience with Microsoft Office and digital reporting systems preferred Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Experience:

Industrial, utility, civil, concrete, or data center construction Excavation and heavy equipment safety Working around multiple subcontractors and active jobsite operations

Pay:

$70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
