• Full-time Piana Technology is looking for a Safety Manager to join our team.

This position will be responsible for the overall management of the safety department. The ideal candidate will have a passion for safety and will be able to provide leadership and guidance to ensure the company's safety culture is maintained and promoted.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, workplace safety policies and procedures in accordance with OSHA standards Provide team members with safety-related information such as training sessions, emergency protocols, and proper use of safety equipment. Review existing policies and procedures to ensure they are up to date. Overseeing the company's daily operations and identifying opportunities for improvement of safety regulations. Performing safety audits and physically inspecting all work areas and jobsites to identify possible safety issues. Conduction risk assessments to minimize workplace accidents, occupational illnesses or long-term health hazards. Preparing monthly and annual safety reports

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Safety Management or related field preferred. Minimum of 3 years' experience in a safety management role preferred. Excellent knowledge of OSHA standards and federal safety legislation. Familiarity with writing health an safety policies and procedures Strong communication and teamwork skills Bilingual in Spanish is a must
