Job Description

Sage X3 Administrator Source Code is looking for an ERP/ Sage X3 Administrator with strong knowledge in finance, manufacturing, or distribution business processes and at least 2 years of professional experience with Sage X3 or similar ERP solutions to be actively involved with the maintenance and future development of Sage X3. Key Responsibilities Responsible for the daily administration and support of the Sage X3 ERP system. This includes user account management, system configuration, and ensuring the smooth operation of the system across all company locations. Act as the first line of support for any system-related issues. Diagnose and resolve technical problems and escalate complex issues to senior staff when necessary. Perform system updates and maintenance, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. Work with the IT team to schedule updates and communicate any system downtime to users. Provide training and assistance to users of the Sage X3 system. This involves creating instructional materials, conducting training sessions, and offering support for any issues users may encounter. Work closely with the IT team to align the Sage X3 system with the company's IT infrastructure and security policies. Participate in IT projects that involve the ERP system. Work closely with the Development team on customized reports and tools requirements. Test the developed reports and tools and train users as needed. Coordinate with teams across different locations to ensure the ERP system meets the diverse needs of each site. Address any location-specific issues and requirements. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the ERP system. Provide feedback and suggestions for system enhancements based on user experience and business needs. Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in ERP administration. Keep abreast of new developments in ERP systems and technologies. Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field is required. Certifications in Sage X3 or other relevant ERP systems can be advantageous. Technical Experience Experience with Sage X3 or similar ERP systems, including system administration, user support, and configuration is required. Familiarity with the accounting and finance functions and technical aspects of computer manufacturing and the specific needs of such functions in ERP systems is helpful. Knowledge of system integration and data migration techniques is helpful. Professional Experience Experience in a system administration role, preferably within a manufacturing or similar industry. Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues. Prior involvement in ERP implementation projects or system upgrades would be beneficial. Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with users and understanding their requirements. Ability to work collaboratively with other System Adm ins, IT teams and other departments. Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Experience working in a multi-site or multi-location organizational structure. Exposure to project management methodologies and practices.
Knowledge of Business Processes:
An understanding of key business processes in manufacturing, such as supply chain management, production planning, inventory control, and financials is very useful. Ability to translate business requirements into system configurations. Pay Range:
 $100,000 - $120,000 per year
