Sales & Service Support Technician - Michigan Advanced Gas Engine Solutions, Inc. (AGES) Advanced Gas Engine Solutions, Inc. is seeking a motivated and mechanically inclined individual to join our Michigan team in a versatile Sales & Service Support Technician role. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on mechanical work, customer interaction, shop operations, and supporting a fast-paced team within the natural gas compression industry. This is a flexible, all-around operations support role that assists with mechanical service work, ignition component rebuilding, inside sales support, shipping and receiving, customer communication, and daily branch operations. Responsibilities Rebuild and service ignition magnetos and related components Perform general mechanical work, shop support, and equipment preparation Assist with troubleshooting and repair of engine control and ignition systems Support inside sales with customer quotes, order processing, and product support Communicate with customers regarding orders, service updates, shipments, and general support needs Assist with shipping, receiving, inventory management, and warehouse organization Coordinate and prepare outgoing shipments and customer deliveries Support branch operations with day-to-day tasks as needed Assist field service technicians and regional sales managers with project and customer support Maintain clean, organized, and professional shop and warehouse areas Help ensure customers receive timely service and support As you gain experience, this role will also have travel opportunity with increased field pay on field projects Qualifications Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn Good communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask and work in both shop and office environments Basic computer and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Valid driver's license required Experience in the natural gas compression industry is a plus, but not required AGES is willing to train the right individual with a strong work ethic and positive attitude What We Offer Competitive hourly pay based on experience Overtime opportunities Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) with company match Paid holidays and paid vacation Company-supplied FR clothing Training and advancement opportunities Stable and growing company with long-term career potential About AGES Advanced Gas Engine Solutions, Inc. is a growing sales and service company supporting the natural gas compression industry with engine controls, ignition systems, emissions solutions, field service, and technical support.
