At Specialty Pool & Fountain, we're not just selling pools, we're helping people bring their vision of a personal paradise to life. As our next Design & Sales Consultant, you'll guide clients through an exciting journey from first conversation to signed contract, showing them how our process delivers stunning results without the stress. This isn't your average sales role, it's your chance to join a client-focused team where integrity, transparency, and creativity are at the core of everything we do. This position is loaded with opportunity for the right candidate. You'll go to appointments confident in the product, and we'll equip you with tools that no one else in the industry is using to give you a leg up.
Responsibilities:
Respond to leads, cultivate relationships, and connect with people and businesses to drive revenue. Meet with prospective clients to listen, learn, and help them shape their dream outdoor space. Share our process and showcase why Jim Hinson Pools is the trusted name in luxury pool design and construction. Work within our proprietary sales process to create personalized proposals that wow and set us apart. Maintain relationships with clients through clear, consistent communication and act as their trusted guide throughout the pre-construction phase. Stay organized using our sales systems and tools to manage leads, follow-ups, and documentation. Document everything, be diligent on details, and communicate and negotiate effectively. Be the friendly, professional face of the company at consultations, trade shows, site visits, and community events.
What We're Looking For:
Sales experience, ideally in construction, luxury goods, or services where relationships are key. A warm, approachable personality and great listening skills—you know how to build trust quickly. Excellent communication and presentation skills (you make complex things feel simple). A passion for design and helping clients create something special. Isn't afraid to participate in the design process, or may even have Pool Studio or Revit experience. Organized and detail-oriented with a drive to keep things moving. You're a closer—not high pressure, but someone who provides value and engages clients with confidence and charisma. Comfortable participating in marketing initiatives and on social media. Tech-savvy and eager to use modern CRM tools and technology. Why Specialty Pool and Fountain? For over 50 years, we've built a reputation for craftsmanship, innovation, and a client experience like no other. Our sales team isn't about pressure or gimmicks—we're about educating and bringing value to every client we meet.
