Sales Support Specialist

Global manufacturer and industry leader in power transmission solutions is seeking an experienced Inside Sales Representative to support domestic and international customers from its corporate headquarters. Key Responsibilities Manage assigned customer accounts to drive customer satisfaction, sales growth, and margin Handle quotes, order entry, order follow‑ups, and delivery coordination Resolve customer issues including credits, debits, and return authorizations Communicate customer requirements with Operations and Engineering Monitor pricing and inventory agreements Support outside sales representatives Maintain accurate documentation and high attention to detail Collaborate with team members and escalate issues as needed Work Volume / Environment 50-75 complex orders with multiple line items Support international and domestic clients Rotating phone coverage: Phone weeks = ~70% of day on calls (~45 inbound calls/day) Remaining time focused on order processing and account support Not a full‑time phone role Must‑Have Qualifications 2+ years manufacturing sales support or manufacturing customer service Experience managing product knowledge Strong order entry experience Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Comfortable in a fast‑paced, detail‑driven environment Nice to Have Experience with QAD or similar ERP systems Core Skills Sales Support | ERP Systems | Order Entry | Customer Service | Pricing | CRM | Data Entry Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wheeling, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
