POSITION OVERVIEW

We are looking for a highly organized and customer-focused Account Executive to serve as the primary point of contact for one of our key commercial clients. This role is responsible for managing the day-to-day client relationship, coordinating projects and service needs, and ensuring work is completed successfully, on time, and to the customer's expectations. The ideal candidate will build a strong partnership with the client while working closely with our operations, service, engineering, and project management teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Serve as the primary point of contact and dedicated resource for the assigned commercial client Build and maintain a strong, long-term relationship with the client and proactively identify their needs Manage the client's portfolio of HVAC/mechanical projects, service needs, and ongoing work Coordinate projects from initial scope through completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, quality, and customer expectations are met Conduct regular client meetings and site visits to understand needs, review project progress, and address concerns Coordinate with operations, service, engineering, project management, and field teams to ensure successful project execution Develop project schedules, track milestones, and communicate updates, changes, and potential delays to the client Review project scope, estimates, proposals, change orders, and other client documentation for accuracy Proactively identify and resolve issues, serving as the liaison between the client and internal teams Ensure timely follow-up, communication, and after-sales support throughout the client relationship Monitor project and account performance, maintain accurate records, and provide regular updates to leadership Identify opportunities to expand services within the client relationship and support additional business needs Maintain accurate client and project information within CRM and other company systems

QUALIFICATIONS

3+ years of experience in account management, project management, customer success, or B2B sales Experience in HVAC, mechanical contracting, construction, facilities management, or a related industry is highly preferred Strong customer relationship management and communication skills Proven ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously Ability to understand technical concepts, project scopes, and client requirements Strong problem-solving, organizational, and follow-through skills Ability to communicate effectively with customers, field personnel, project managers, and leadership Proficiency with CRM software, Microsoft Office, and project management tools Self-starter who can work independently while effectively coordinating with cross-functional teams Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally for client meetings and project/site visits

Language Skills Ability to read, understand, and apply written instructions, emails, and business correspondence. Strong written communication skills are essential for drafting professional emails, reports, and internal documents. The role requires the ability to clearly present information in one-on-one and small group settings with employees, customers, and vendors. Mathematical Skills Proficiency in basic arithmetic operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Comfortable working with percentages, ratios, and basic financial calculations. Familiarity with spreadsheets and data entry is necessary for tracking expenses, reports, and various administrative tasks. Reasoning Ability Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to follow written, verbal, or visual instructions accurately. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to shifting priorities. Attention to detail and sound judgment are critical, particularly when handling confidential information. Personal and Interpersonal Skills Ability to establish and grow relationships with customers through effective verbal and written communication. Dedicated to the needs of the customers, manufacturers and peers and has the patience to actively listen to all business partners. Able to solve problems and skillfully negotiate with a minimum of noise while managing stress. Demonstrates integrity and trust through appropriate directness and truthfulness. Ability to understand personal strengths and weaknesses, seek feedback and improve upon shortcomings. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this role, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands for typing and other office-related tasks, and communicate clearly. The employee may occasionally need to stand, walk, or lift office materials weighing up to 25 pounds. Vision requirements include close vision for computer work and the ability to adjust focus as needed.
