This role blends relationship building, consultative sales, and insurance expertise to deliver personalized solutions that help clients navigate risk with confidence. You will work closely with clients, prospects, and carrier partners to understand unique exposures, evaluate coverage options, and develop tailored insurance programs that meet individual needs. Whether supporting new prospects, growing existing relationships, or identifying cross-selling opportunities, your expertise will directly contribute to client satisfaction and agency growth. How You'll Make an Impact Generate new business opportunities through referrals, marketing initiatives, community engagement, and centers of influence. Consult with clients and prospects to identify risks, explain coverage options, and recommend personalized insurance solutions. Create compelling insurance proposals and deliver effective sales presentations that drive new business growth. Strengthen client relationships by identifying account rounding opportunities and connecting clients with additional products and services. Partner with carrier representatives to evaluate policy options and secure competitive coverage solutions. Maintain accurate documentation, applications, and client records within the Epic Agency Management System to support operational excellence. Who You Are You are a relationship-focused professional who enjoys helping clients understand complex insurance decisions. You take a consultative approach and prioritize understanding client needs before providing recommendations. You are proactive in developing leads, pursuing opportunities, and growing a book of business. You communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing. You are organized and detail-oriented, ensuring accuracy in applications, documentation, and client communications. You collaborate effectively with teammates, carrier partners, and internal stakeholders to deliver outstanding client experiences. You are driven by continuous learning and committed to remaining knowledgeable about coverage options, market trends, and industry best practices.
What You Bring Day One:
2+ years of experience in a business development or sales role Minimum of 1 year of experience within the Property & Casualty insurance industry Active Massachusetts Property & Casualty Insurance License High school diploma or GED Strong verbal and written communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with clients, carrier partners, and colleagues Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
