Ann Arbor is a centric location in the assigned area and is only used a reference point. We specialize in delivering comprehensive in-home hospice services that support individuals facing end-of-life challenges, emphasizing emotional, spiritual, and clinical care to ensure comfort and dignity. Overview We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Hospice Sales Professional to join our dedicated team. This role is vital in expanding our community outreach, building meaningful relationships with healthcare providers, and promoting our compassionate hospice services. The ideal candidate will possess strong outside sales expertise, excellent communication skills, and a passion for improving quality of life for patients and families through targeted outreach and strategic account management. Duties Develop and implement strategic sales plans to grow hospice service awareness within assigned territories. Engage with healthcare professionals, including hospitals, clinics, and physician offices, to educate them on our hospice offerings through informational meetings. Build and maintain long-term relationships with referral sources by providing exceptional customer service and tailored solutions. Conduct detailed needs assessments to align our services with client requirements, ensuring effective communication of benefits and capabilities. Manage a designated territory by scheduling visits, tracking outreach efforts, and analyzing market trends to identify new opportunities. Collaborate with internal teams to facilitate smooth onboarding of new referral sources and ensure ongoing satisfaction. Experience Proven experience in outside sales or B2B sales is highly necessary. In particular, exposure to these processes within the healthcare/medical industry will give a candidate an advantage in the screening process. Demonstrated success in territory management, deal closing, and meeting or exceeding sales targets will play an integral part of the hiring decision. Understanding of common medical equipment is advantageous. Experience in pharmaceutical supplies, especially within hospice or palliative care settings, is a plus. Familiarity with Assisted Living/Adult Family Homes is helpful. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (including Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and CRM systems is essential for tracking client interactions and day-to-day operations. Demonstrated leadership qualities with the capacity to influence decision-makers at various levels within healthcare organizations.
