How much new revenue or business have you generated? What's the most expensive service you've successfully sold directly to an individual or family? How do you sell when the customer needs the service but isn't convinced they need to buy it yet ? Why does private-pay home care interest you? Can You Sell Something People Never Expected to Need? Nobody wakes up excited to shop for home care. Most families aren't planning for it six months in advance. Then something changes. A parent falls. A hospital discharge happens faster than expected. Dementia progresses. A spouse realizes they can't keep doing everything alone. Adult children start worrying about whether Mom or Dad is safe at home. Suddenly, a family that has never purchased home care before may be considering thousands of dollars per month in private-pay services . That's a very different kind of sale. Legacy Home Care is looking for an Account Executive who knows how to navigate it. This Is Consultative Selling With Real Stakes You aren't selling a product someone can compare by looking at a spec sheet. You're selling trust, reliability, safety, independence, and peace of mind . Families may ask why they need professional care when they've been managing on their own. They may underestimate how much help their parent actually needs. They may experience sticker shock. Siblings may disagree. Someone may insist they're "not ready yet." A great salesperson doesn't pressure that family. They help them understand the problem, see the value, and confidently make a decision. And when the solution is right, they're comfortable asking for the business. Why This Opportunity Stands Out $100,000-$130,000 base salary Uncapped commission Company vehicle provided Company-paid gas card Personal use of the company vehicle allowed Significant territory autonomy Established private-pay home care organization Direct access to operational and executive leadership Opportunity to build a substantial book of business throughout the Twin Cities Sell a service families can immediately understand the impact of You'll Build Demand Before the Family Ever Calls The best private-pay salespeople aren't waiting for an inquiry to land in their inbox. They're building relationships with the professionals who are often the first to recognize when someone needs more help . You'll develop relationships with: Hospitals and discharge professionals Senior living communities Physicians and clinics Social workers Care managers Rehabilitation and transitional care providers Community organizations Other professionals serving older adults and their families Your goal is simple: When someone says, "This family needs more help at home," we want Legacy to be one of the first names they think of. Then You Have to Win the Family Generating the referral is only half the job. The family still has to choose Legacy. You'll meet prospective clients and decision-makers, understand what's happening, uncover what they actually need, explain their options, overcome concerns, and clearly communicate why professional home care is worth the investment. Sometimes they're ready immediately. Sometimes they're comparing providers. Sometimes they aren't convinced they need care at all. Your ability to read the situation and move the decision forward matters. What You'll Own You'll be expected to: Generate new private-pay home care business throughout the Greater Twin Cities Develop new referral relationships Prospect through cold calls, networking, drop-ins, meetings, and community outreach Grow previously inactive or underdeveloped accounts Meet with prospective clients and family decision-makers Conduct consultative conversations around care needs and available services Communicate the value of professional private-pay care Navigate pricing concerns and other objections Follow up with families throughout the decision-making process Ask for the business and convert qualified opportunities into clients Maintain an active, measurable sales pipeline Track referrals, conversions, revenue, and territory performance Collaborate closely with operations to ensure a strong client experience We're Hiring a Salesperson, Not Just a Networker Being likable helps. Knowing people helps. Healthcare experience helps. But ultimately, we need someone who can sell. We want to hear about the territory you grew, the account nobody else could win, the revenue you personally generated, the quota you exceeded, or the book of business you built. We're especially interested in successful professionals from Private Duty/Home Care, Home Health, Hospice, Senior Living, Healthcare Business Development, Medical Device, Pharmaceutical Sales, Healthcare Staffing, Physician Services, Territory Sales, and high-performing consultative B2B or B2C sales environments . Your background doesn't have to be home care. Your track record does need to demonstrate that you know how to create revenue. Sell Something That Changes What Happens Next A great sale here doesn't end with a signed agreement. It may mean an older adult gets to stay in their home. It may mean a daughter can go back to being a daughter instead of being the full-time caregiver. It may mean a spouse finally has help. And it can also mean you've built a significant, measurable book of business while earning uncapped commission for the growth you create. Legacy Home Care will provide the platform, operational support, $100,000-$130,000 base salary, uncapped commission, company vehicle, and gas card . We're looking for someone who can take that platform and turn need into opportunity, opportunity into clients, and clients into sustainable growth. Apply today or email Tom Lecy at tom.lecy@hhcare.net with your resume and measurable examples of the business and revenue you've personally generated.
