Job Description
Ticket Sales Account Executive The Asheville Tourists are seeking an energetic, motivated, and driven Ticket Sales Account Executive to join our front office team at HomeTrust Park . Following a transformative $40 million Centennial Restoration & Capital Improvement Project , HomeTrust Park has been reimagined into one of the premier venues in Minor League Baseball while preserving the charm and history that have made it a community landmark for more than a century. With expanded premium hospitality spaces, state-of-the-art fan amenities, and a renewed commitment to delivering unforgettable experiences, there has never been a more exciting time to join the Tourists organization. This is an outstanding opportunity for a motivated sales professional to help grow attendance, build lasting relationships, and play a key role in the continued success of one of Minor League Baseball's most historic franchises. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Generate new business by selling group outings, season ticket memberships, mini plans, hospitality areas, premium seating, and all-inclusive suites through prospecting, networking, referrals, and cold calling. Identify and cultivate relationships with businesses, schools, nonprofits, and community organizations to grow ticket revenue. Manage, service, and expand an assigned portfolio of existing accounts while developing new sales opportunities. Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity within the organization's CRM system. Develop professional sales presentations, proposals, and customized ticket packages for prospective clients. Assist with all aspects of the ticket office operation, including game-day sales and customer service. Deliver exceptional customer service by building strong relationships with clients before, during, and after events. Respond promptly and professionally to guest questions, comments, and concerns. Assist with the execution and operation of all HomeTrust Park events, including Tourists games and non-baseball events. Represent the Asheville Tourists professionally throughout the community and perform other duties as assigned. Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university. Strong work ethic with a passion for sales and a desire to build a successful career in professional sports. Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong prospecting and relationship-building abilities; previous sales and cold-calling experience is preferred. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently and as part of a team. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays during the baseball season. Previous experience in professional baseball or another professional sports organization is strongly preferred.
