Job Description

Summary:
The Corporate Sales Executive is responsible for generating new business by selling corporate sponsorships, promotions, and advertising, as well as selling corporate sponsorship and ticket package renewals, upselling renewal customers as opportunities arise. This role focuses on maximizing revenue by identifying upsell opportunities within the current client base, cultivating strong relationships with existing clients, and proactively developing new client partnerships.
Responsibilities:
  • Create and develop comprehensive proposals and presentations to meet clients' objectives on renewals and any new inventory
  • Build and foster relationships with past, current and potential new clients
  • Research, develop and manage a list of potential new partners
  • Make sales calls to renewal clients and any assigned clients and follow up as necessary
  • Meet or exceed yearly individual and team sales goals
  • Represent the organization at off-site community events and any ballpark events promoting the organization
  • Maintain records of all customers by utilizing CRM tools daily
  • Collaborate and interact with front office team to implement sponsorships and contract fulfillment
  • Work with the front office team to achieve the objectives of the advertising sales, marketing, tickets and community relations departments
  • Network and build relationships in Omaha and the surrounding region
  • Provide excellent customer service and care to all clients
  • Other duties as assigned
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Sports Management or related field preferred
  • At least five (5) years of prior sales experience preferred
  • Ability to present sales material to potential clients
  • Ability to lead and collaborate in a team environment
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good working knowledge of computer programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and CRM software
  • Valid driver's license and ability to drive for organizational business
  • Ability and willingness to work varied and long hours including nights, weekends and holidays
Working Conditions:
This job operates in an office environment located at a ballpark. This individual routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones and copiers. During games and events, this individual may be exposed to extreme weather conditions.
