Job Description
About the RoleWe are seeking an Account Executive to join our team and manage client relationships, develop new business, and drive sales within the trade show and exhibit industry.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the exhibit, trade show, experiential marketing, event, or related industry. This is not necessarily a senior-level position-we are open to candidates with solid industry knowledge who understand the exhibit business and can hit the ground running.
The primary need is for someone based in the Las Vegas/Henderson area, though qualified candidates in the Chicago area will also be considered.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
Identify new business opportunities within the trade show and exhibit marketplace.
Manage the sales process from initial prospecting through proposal, negotiation, and closing.
Understand client objectives and recommend appropriate exhibit, event, and experiential solutions.
Collaborate with design, production, project management, and operations teams to deliver client projects.
Prepare proposals, estimates, presentations, and other sales materials.
Conduct client meetings, presentations, and follow-ups.
Maintain accurate sales activity, opportunities, and client information in CRM systems.
Attend trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities to generate leads and strengthen relationships.
Meet or exceed established sales and revenue goals.
Stay current on trends, products, services, and developments within the exhibit and events industry.
Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the sales and project lifecycle.
QualificationsPrevious experience in the trade show, exhibit, experiential marketing, event production, or related industry.
Sales, account management, business development, or client-facing experience.
Strong understanding of the exhibit industry and its sales/project lifecycle.
Ability to quickly understand client needs and translate them into effective solutions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong relationship-building and negotiation abilities.
Ability to manage multiple accounts, projects, and priorities simultaneously.
Self-motivated, organized, and results-oriented.
Comfortable working collaboratively with internal creative, production, and project teams.
Proficiency with CRM systems and standard Microsoft Office applications.
