Obtain Contact Information Job Summary Job Description Insight Global is seeking an Account Executive for a mechanical contractor in Bend, Oregon. This individual will be responsible for driving business development efforts throughout Bend, Madras, and Prineville by identifying and pursuing commercial HVAC and mechanical project opportunities. Responsibilities include developing relationships with owners and general contractors, identifying plan/spec and bid opportunities, assisting with project estimating, participating in proposal development, responding to RFPs/RFQs, and maintaining a strong sales pipeline. This is a consultative sales role requiring both mechanical/HVAC knowledge and the ability to develop and win new business.   • 5+ years of experience in construction project management, construction sales, work acquisition, business development, estimating, or account management within the HVAC, mechanical construction, or controls industry
  • Strong understanding of commercial HVAC and mechanical systems
  • Experience selling mechanical projects or services to building owners, facility managers, property managers, or general contractors
  • Experience identifying and pursuing bid opportunities, plan/spec work, or construction projects
  • Experience developing estimates, reviewing project scope, or participating in the bidding process
  • Experience managing a sales pipeline and meeting revenue goals
  • Strong consultative sales and relationship-building skills Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout Central Oregon
  • Experience working for a mechanical contractor (preferred) or controls contractor
  • Experience with RFPs, RFQs, and proposal development
  • Existing relationships with owners, engineers, architects, or general contractors in the Oregon market
  • Experience with project pursuits, go/no-go decisions, and work acquisition strategies
