Job Description
This position is a hybrid role. Candidates must be able to work from the Fort Lauderdale office one day per week. We're looking for an amazing Account Executive to join the FINN Partners team in Fort Lauderdale. Specific Job Functions Related toJob Responsibilities:
- Support high-impact programs that blend traditional earned media with cutting-edge influencer relations, to keep integrated marketing and communications deliverables on schedule.
- Manage daily account operations, including agendas, client follow-up reports, project timelines, and campaign materials.
- Address day-to-day client requests and routine media inquiries with speed and attention to detail.
- Pitch local, regional, and national media across broadcast, print, and digital channels to secure impactful earned coverage.
- Build, vet, and maintain targeted media and influencer lists tailored to specific client industries.
- Experience in influencer relations, including building relationships with content creators, drafting creative briefs, managing outreach, and ensuring messaging alignment.
- Coordinate logistics and media and influencer management for client events, activations, and product launches.
- Draft compelling external materials, including news releases, media pitches, talking points, agendas, fact sheets, executive bios, etc.
- Write engaging copy for social media channels, newsletters, and collateral materials.
- Track, analyze, and compile client media coverage, influencer content and social performance into polished, insightful reports.
- Monitor and proactively flag industry news, competitor activity, social algorithms, and cultural trends to identify pitch and strategy opportunities. Share with the team and clients as instructed by the account lead.
- Build an understanding and knowledge of client business and their competitive business environments.
- Conduct client background research on business strategy, target audiences, and market dynamics.
- Build foundational account leadership skills by managing workflows and budgets for smaller accounts with senior oversight. Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree with a focus in public relations, mass media, communications and/or marketing
- 2-3+ years of full-time prior PR agency experience. (Please keep in mind the 2-3 years do not include time you may have spent as an intern while at university.)
- Earned media and influencer relations experience
- Experience supporting clients in industries including food & beverage, travel & hospitality, health, nonprofit, etc.
- Experience supporting social media strategies and campaigns, basic design skills is a plus
- Ability to collaborate with team to execute successful media and influencer relations programs
- Attention to detail
- Excellent writing skills
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communications skills, both oral and written (including editing skills)
- Experience using Microsoft Office and Google Suite products
- Solid grasp of media and influencer monitoring tools (Cision, Vocus, Sprout Social, Meltwater, etc.)
