We are hiring an Account Executive to grow and manage customer relationships while selling packaging equipment, systems, and consumables across an assigned territory. This role blends technical problem-solving with consultative selling. You will work directly with customers to understand their operations, engineer solutions that reduce cost and improve efficiency, and manage the sales process from first conversation through implementation. Responsibilities Prospect, develop, and manage customer accounts within your territory Conduct site visits to assess packaging and material handling workflows Engineer and recommend systems that reduce customer cost and improve productivity Present equipment, consumables, and service solutions confidently Coordinate demos, trials, installations, and post-sales support Manage pipeline, forecasts, and CRM activity accurately Collaborate with service, operations, and suppliers to ensure customer success Represent TPS with professionalism, integrity, and technical credibility Results Consistent achievement of revenue and margin goals Growth of recurring consumables and system-related sales High customer retention and satisfaction Accurate forecasting and disciplined pipeline management Requirements 1+ years of B2B sales experience (technical, industrial, or equipment sales preferred) Bachelor's degree in sales, packaging, or engineering preferred. Relevant experience considered in lieu of degree Ability to learn and communicate complex technical solutions Strong organization, follow-up, and time management skills Comfort with in-person customer meetings and site visits CRM experience preferred Valid driver's license and ability to travel within assigned territoryLOCATION
Remote, with regular customer site visits acrossMichigan Headquarters:
Kalamazoo, MI Must reside in Michigan Travel required approximately 70% each week, primarily local/day travel; overnight travel is rare Ability to work safely in manufacturing and warehouse environments, including standing/walking for extended periods, occasional lifting of up to 35 pounds and wearing requiredPPE COMPENSATION
$60,000 Base salary + Uncapped commission On-Target Earnings (OTE): $100,000 - $125,000 Earnings potential increases with territory growth and recurring consumables business Performance-based advancement opportunitiesBENEFITS
