GENERAL OVERVIEW
Education Advanced, Inc. is an educational technology company that seeks to transform school processes by allowing educators to focus more of their time on what matters most: their students. Our products, TestHound (test coordination and administration), Evaluation (staff evaluation and professional growth), and Pathways (graduation readiness, college and career planning, and CTE tracking), take time-consuming work off district teams' plates so they can focus on keeping students on track. Education Advanced, Inc. is seeking an Account Executive, ready to work from home with a geographically dispersed team. Although a remote position, a resident in the Midwest, Southeast, or Northeast with existing relationships in the area is preferred. This position requires a highly capable, self-driven individual, able to work under limited supervision while consistently tracking sales activity and pipeline in Salesforce. This individual should understand K-12 education solutions as well as have experience delivering web-conference and in-person presentations, AI tools, and sales tools such as HubSpot and Consensus. This position will require a reliable Internet connection, and for you to have the flexibility to travel 1-3 times per month on average for district visits and education conferences.
QUALIFICATIONS
ROLE
AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as the Account Executive to expand the client base within an assigned territory Drive new business with school districts while growing existing accounts through cross-sell across TestHound, Evaluation, and Pathways Build relationships with district decision-makers, including superintendents, assessment and accountability directors, CTE and counseling directors, and HR and talent leaders Understand customers' needs and build productive long-lasting relationships Meet or exceed personal and team sales targets, and maintain an accurate pipeline and forecast in Salesforce Be able to conduct customer demonstrations for assigned products Assist with RFP responses Utilize AI to research accounts to create targeted messaging and aligned presentation to customer needs Generate leads and/or follow up on sales leads Attend meetings, sales events, and training to keep abreast of latest developments Represent Education Advanced at state and national education conferences, including booth staffing and customer events Partner with Customer Success and Implementation for smooth handoffs to new customers, and with Marketing on territory campaigns Track daily sales activities Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
3+ years of K-12 or EdTech SaaS sales experience with a proven record of meeting or exceeding quota 5+ years of professional experience in K-12 education preferred Understanding of how districts buy, including budget cycles, funding sources such as Title I and Perkins V, cooperative purchasing, procurement, and board approval Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills Impeccable organizational skills Self-motivated and self-directed Ability and desire to adapt and acquire the skillset needed to meet the demands of our rapidly growing company

Analysis and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office products Requires a reliable internet connection and a dedicated home work space Valid driver's license and ability to travel 1-3 times per month
