Position Overview The company is seeking a commercially minded construction professional who can both win work and deliver it well. This is not a handoff sales role. The person in this position owns the client relationship and the project from initial prospecting and site walk through final installation, client acceptance, and closeout. The right candidate is persistent in business development, exacting with details, comfortable on active jobsites, and accountable for what the company promises. Success means building a qualified pipeline, closing profitable work, and ensuring every project is scoped, scheduled, communicated, and executed correctly. About the Company The company provides reusable modular containment walls for renovations and construction in occupied commercial environments. Our systems help control dust and disruption while presenting a clean, professional appearance. Customers include general contractors, healthcare facilities, airports, hotels, data centers, arenas, and other organizations that must remain operational during construction. What You Will Own Business Development and Sales Develop new relationships with general contractors, healthcare and facility leaders, property managers, specialty contractors, and other project decision makers. Build and actively manage a qualified pipeline through targeted outreach, jobsite activity, networking, referrals, bid opportunities, and industry relationships. Conduct discovery calls and site walks; understand project schedule, containment needs, access constraints, phasing, and decision process. Prepare timely, accurate proposals and follow up consistently until a clear decision is reached. Negotiate and close profitable projects while setting realistic expectations for scope, schedule, and service. Maintain complete and current CRM records, next steps, forecasts, notes, and proposal status. Project Planning and Execution Translate the sold scope into a complete execution plan, including verified measurements, drawings or layouts, materials, labor, equipment, delivery, access, schedule, and site requirements. Coordinate with the customer, field installers, vendors, and owner so each project starts with clear responsibilities and no avoidable surprises. Lead pre installation communication and confirm that scope, phasing, site conditions, and schedule remain accurate before mobilization. Visit active jobsites as needed, inspect work for quality and completeness, identify issues early, and drive them to resolution. Provide proactive client updates, document changes, and ensure additions or deviations are approved and priced appropriately. Manage punch list, client acceptance, removal scheduling, and closeout documentation. For healthcare work, follow project specific infection control and containment requirements; ICRA experience is strongly preferred. Operating Discipline Use checklists and repeatable processes to ensure details are captured and commitments are fulfilled. Respond promptly to clients and internal team members and communicate early when a risk could affect scope, schedule, cost, or quality. Review project results and help improve estimating, handoff, field execution, and customer service processes. Support a growing small business where priorities can shift and each team member is expected to take ownership. How Success Will Be Measured Qualified pipeline created and maintained Profitable sales closed and collected Accuracy and timeliness of estimates, scopes, and project documentation Projects delivered on schedule and consistent with the customer commitment Customer satisfaction, issue resolution, and repeat business Reliable CRM use, forecasting, follow through, and internal communication Qualifications Required At least three years of construction sales, construction project management, or a closely related combination of experience.
