Job Summary Whether you are a current or former educator ready to transition your classroom expertise into a broader impact, or a consultative sales professional with experience in space design and furniture solutions, we invite you to join our team. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to schools and universities, consulting with school, district, and higher education leaders to match their spatial, physical, and sensory needs with Oxilium's cutting-edge furniture and technology solutions. You will combine relationship building and consultative selling to drive regional growth, helping transform static classrooms into modern learning environments.
Key Responsibilities Advocate & Connect:
Proactively introduce Oxilium's solutions to school districts and university decision-makers through targeted outreach, networking, educational trade shows, and community building.
Consultative Discoveries:
Conduct site walk-throughs and classroom assessments to evaluate physical learning environments, offering insights on how flexible furniture can improve student engagement and equity
Inspirational Demonstrations:
Deliver engaging virtual and in-person product presentations that showcase how our solutions solve real-world classroom challenges
Collaborative Design:
Partner internally to build tailored project proposals and respond to district RFPs (Requests for Proposals)
Pipeline & Project Management:
Utilize our CRM to manage your outreach pipeline, accurately forecast project timelines, and balance multiple school transformations simultaneously
Post-Sale Advocacy:
Maintain relationships with schools post-delivery, ensuring continued success
Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's degree required
Experience:
One of the following backgrounds
Transitioning Educators:
3+ years of teaching experience (Special Education, Inclusion, or classroom design focus highly preferred) with a desire to pivot into educational consulting and solutions.
Consultative Sales Professionals:
3+ years in B2B, commercial, or institutional sales, with hands-on exposure to furniture sales, space planning, or interior design (educational market experience is a plus, but not required).
Design and Educational Insight:
Understanding of modern learning environments, flexible dynamic seating, neuroinclusive design, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), or Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) principles.
Communication Skills:
Exceptional active listening, presentation, and storytelling abilities to clearly articulate spatial benefits
Resilience & Problem-Solving:
Comfort navigating complex purchasing decisions with the perseverance to handle long sales or procurement cycles.
Travel:
Willingness and ability to travel frequently for day trips to client sites, along with flexibility for occasional overnight stays; valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
Pay:
$80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
