Full Job Description Job Title:
Account Executive (Mortgage Industry) Position Overview The Account Executive is responsible for developing, managing, and growing relationships with mortgage brokers, loan officers, and business partners to drive loan production. This role serves as a key liaison between the company and external partners, ensuring a seamless experience from loan submission through closing while identifying opportunities to expand business. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain strong relationships with mortgage brokers, loan officers, and referral partners Actively source and develop new business opportunities to increase loan volume Educate partners on company products, pricing, guidelines, and systems Serve as the primary point of contact for scenario structuring and deal support Analyze loan scenarios and provide guidance to maximize approval potential Collaborate with internal teams (Processing, Underwriting, Closing) to ensure smooth loan flow Monitor pipeline and proactively address bottlenecks or issues Stay up to date on market trends, investor guidelines, and regulatory changes Attend industry events, trainings, and networking opportunities to build brand presence Meet or exceed monthly production and revenue goals Qualifications 2+ years of experience in mortgage sales, wholesale lending, or account management Strong understanding of mortgage products (Conventional, FHA, VA, Non-QM preferred) Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets Excellent relationship-building and communication skills Ability to structure loan scenarios and problem-solve effectively Familiarity with LOS systems (e.g., Calyx Path LOS) and pricing engines (e.g., Optimal Blue) is a plus Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a high-volume pipeline Self-motivated, driven, and results-oriented Core Competencies Relationship Management Sales & Business Development Product Knowledge Problem Solving & Scenario Analysis Communication & Negotiation Time Management & Organization Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary + commission structure Performance-based incentives Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) plan Paid time off and company holidays Ongoing training and professional development opportunities Work Environment Fast-paced, sales-driven environment Hybrid or remote flexibility (based on company policy) Collaboration with cross-functional teams Why Join Us Join a growing mortgage platform that values innovation, collaboration, and performance , where Account Executives are empowered to build meaningful partnerships and directly impact company growth.
