Position Overview:
The Account Executive, Ticket Sales will play an active role in executing the ticket sales strategy for MLV NorCal ahead of our 2027 launch. The ideal candidate has experience selling a variety of ticketing products, with a track record of exceeding sales goals in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. This role will play a key part in building the MLV NorCal brand through season ticket and partial plan membership growth, and group ticket sales. This position reports to the Manager, Ticket Sales. Primary Responsibilities•Ticket Sales and Business Development Support ticket revenue generation through the sale of MLV NorCal ticket products, including season memberships, partial plans, and group tickets. Conduct outbound prospecting and help identify new business opportunities through calls, emails, in-person meetings, networking events, stadium tours, and other sales activities. Partner with Senior Account Executives and Ticket Sales leadership to build relationships with local businesses, youth organizations, schools, volleyball clubs, and community organizations to expand the MLV NorCal fan base. Coordinate and support the sale of group ticket packages for volleyball clubs, corporate partners, community organizations, and other targeted groups. Contribute to departmental sales activity and revenue goals by supporting Senior Account Executives and Ticket Sales leadership. Client Service and Sales Operations Provide timely, professional service to assigned accounts and help ensure a positive fan experience throughout the season. Accurately track sales activities, customer interactions, prospect information, and pipeline opportunities within the CRM system. Support prospect and client follow-up, account servicing, and sales-related administrative activities in partnership with Senior Account Executives and Ticket Sales leadership. Maintain organized prospect lists, sales records, and account information, while supporting additional Ticket Sales department and broader organizational needs as assigned. Matchday and Community Engagement Promote MLV NorCal and professional volleyball through active community outreach, relationship-building and engagement initiatives. Support matchday operations by hosting clients, assisting with group experiences, prospecting new fans, and supporting hospitality areas. Partner with Senior Account Executives on relationship-building and lead-generation efforts at community events, networking functions, matches, and club initiatives to strengthen community connections and increase brand awareness.

Knowledge:
Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Collaborative, team-oriented approach with the ability to work effectively across departments. Proficiency with CRM and ticketing systems. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate records. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed for home games, events, and other business activities.
Education and Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of sales experience, preferably within sports, entertainment, or ticket sales. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred. What You'll Gain & Why This Role is for
