Job Description

Position is eligible for telecommuting, however candidate must reside in PA or OH. As a Consumer Insurance Account Executive with First Commonwealth Insurance Agency, you are providing highly professional sales support and client service while cross-selling and deepening the relationship with the Agency's Property & Casualty accounts. You support the efforts to expand profitable, long-term client relationships by working strategically with Consumer Insurance Advisor, Account Management and bank partners. You continuously develop and follow service and performance standards necessary for the delivery of value services and solutions. In order to resolve complex client concerns you analyze problems and erform in-depth research in order to make recommendations to management as needed. Essential Job Responsibilities__________________________________ 1. Receives, documents, and processes all insured requests for service which would include inspections and documentation to ensure timely completion to insurance carrier. 2. Executes a proactive and trigger-based remarketing strategy to retain and improve client accounts. 3. Serves as advocate for clients throughout the claims process to include assistance with claim submissions, ensure adjuster engagement, monitor open claims and high quality of claims experience that supports retention. 4. Rounds out existing accounts by proactively selling additional personal lines coverages or policies. Initiates contact with current clients, including outbound calls, email and written correspondence to recommend and sell additional lines of coverage as appropriate. 5. Responds to client inquiries in a timely manner related to their coverage or policy status, manage client accounts, and ensure all deadlines are met by conducting in-depth consultations with clients to understand their insurance needs and risk tolerance. 6. Cultivates and maintains strong client relationships through excellent communication and customer service. 7. Maintains accurate and complete client records within the agency management system according to agency standards. 8. Adheres to agency workflows, service standards designed to drive growth and operational efficiency. 9. Supports teammates and collaborate with internal partners to maximize client opportunities across the agency and bank network. 10. Educates sales support staff to integrate value-added philosophies into proposals, client interaction, and overall client management. 11. Maintains relationships with carriers and other related companies that are critical to the function of the business strategy. 12. Analyzes problems and performs in-depth research in order to resolve complex client issues and makes recommendations to management as needed. 13. Ensures that updates to systems are consistent and current with organizational processes regarding client interaction and data specific information. 14. Creates and maintains positive relationships with advisors, clients, bank partners and carrier representatives. 15. Understands and maintains consistent follow up on procedures and system data needs that are applicable to the Agency Management System and overall agency operations in P&C. 16. Coordinates and integrates with P&C Sales Manager & Agency Development Manager to ensure that the methods of business operations are consistent with the needs of customer base, carrier partners and FCIA's recordkeeping and reporting. 17. Develops, integrates and adheres to service standards that support premiere clients of FCIA. Bona Fide Occupational Qualifications___________________________ 1. An associate's degree or equivalent work experience. 2. A minimum of three (3) years of Insurance industry specific experience, including some management. 3. Current Insurance licensing (Life, Accident and Health, and/or Property and Casualty) 4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, excellent communication and organization skills. 5. A valid driver's license and the ability to travel regionally across the First Commonwealth footprint. 6. May be eligible for Telecommuting.
