About Texas Keeper CiderTexas Keeper is a small cidery in South Austin, Texas. We bring a winemaking approach to creating ciders that reflect the quality of good fruit. We are located on 20 acres of old ranchland with a Taproom & Kitchen next door to the cellar that's open on the weekends. Weekdays are spent in production, with 3-4 vintage periods per year. Each year we produce 12-18 unique ciders that reflect that year s growing season and time spent aging in barrel.
Opportunity:
We are looking for a self motivated team member to join us and hold down 1 or 2 of our Farmers Market stalls per week. These markets are located in San Antonio and North Austin. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who likes to manage themselves, that excels at getting a job done without someone looking over their shoulder. Someone who is motivated by making a sale, and appreciates good cider and wine.

  • with an eye to making things look sharp, which helps salesActively engage with farmer market guests to taste through our ciders, educate them on who we are, and how we make our productsSell our CidersPack Van and Return equipment to the cideryHours and ScheduleSaturday and Sunday Markets usually run 9-1 or 10-2 and require a shift of around 7 hrs with the day starting at 8am and finishing around 3pm.
CompensationThe position is compensated through a mix of per diem guarantee $90 per day, commission on sales and tips. Weekly expectations should range between $21-36 dollars per hour depending on sales acumen.
