Company Our client is a 75+ year old full-service international logistics company with 9 locations across key markets in the United States. Their specialization is in customs brokerage and international import and export freight forwarding within the apparel, food, live animal, auto parts and many more industries. Location Seattle, WA About the Role We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Freight Sales Executive to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving business growth through effective sales strategies and building strong relationships with clients. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the freight industry, exceptional negotiation skills, and a passion for customer satisfaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our company's success while further developing your career in freight sales.
Key Tasks Responsibilities:
Manage current client accounts and new business development for US markets. Develop relationship between customers, US Management Team, and the vendors to ensure trust and support of HLS USA business objectives. Apply your current business development knowledge to grow HLS revenue by selling our full range of logistics services. Utilize experience in customer centric practices - Engage with Customers, Partners, and key market players as well as the main internal stakeholders to validate, define and identify future business solutions. A key driver for you is to deliver best in class services/products to the customers. Negotiate & land the sale with assistance from key internal stakeholders and management. Demonstrate strong communication skills with customers and partners. Demonstrate good track record of operating successfully within the space between senior management and the organizations. Support transformation initiatives within HLS USA to make sure that we constantly improve our business development advantages and strive for further excellence. Experience /Qualifications:
5+ years trade experience 2 years college CRM systems skills Experience with excel and Microsoft Office Proven track record in sales, business development, or account management within the logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain industry. Strong Organizational Skills and detail oriented Independent thinker & Strong problem solving skills Excellent communicator both verbal & written Self-starter with the ability to work independently and meet department goals of finding and closing new business deals Adaptable / Flexible in dealing with daily tasks based on different market factors and situationsTeam Player Pay:
