Job Description

Build relationships with major buyers. Secure product approvals. Drive sales. Horizon Global Partners has built home furnishings brands and supplied leading retailers for more than 30 years. We are hiring an E-Commerce Sales & Key Account Manager to own and grow our business with big-box retailers, major e-commerce companies, and drop-ship partners. You will manage established accounts, promote available inventory, and get products approved and selling across our partners' stores and websites. This is a hands-on seat that combines sales, account management, and the operational follow-through that keeps those accounts healthy. You are the person the buyer calls, and you are measured on what your accounts ship and collect. What you will do Develop buyer relationships. Work directly with buyers, merchants, and category managers to pitch products, present collections, and win placement. Get products approved. Lead assortment reviews, coordinate samples and pricing proposals, and follow through on retailer requirements from first presentation to approval. Sell available inventory. Identify products that fit each account, present in-stock opportunities, and negotiate promotions that generate orders and repeat business. Grow key accounts. Own the sales target, the forecast, and the promotional calendar, and log every approved promotion and deduction so finance can tie it out. Launch approved products. Coordinate specifications, images, copy, UPCs and GTINs, and vendor-portal submissions to get items live and ready to sell. Run the accounts day to day. Daily order and site audits, product detail page review by color variation, and management of the EDI 846 inventory feed, including catching feed-versus-on-hand discrepancies and pulling frontloaded inventory once items are back in stock. An out-of-stock top seller is an emergency, not a weekly report line. Protect account performance. Work with operations and finance to resolve inventory discrepancies, order issues, chargebacks, and deductions, and escalate the pattern rather than the incident. Win new business. Pursue additional retail, e-commerce, and drop-ship partners as the portfolio grows. What you bring Three or more years of direct account ownership, including carrying a sales target and owning the buyer relationship. Supporting someone else's account is not the same thing. Experience selling product to major retailers or e-commerce accounts and securing product approvals or assortment placement. Hands-on knowledge of retailer vendor portals, item setup, and onboarding requirements. We will ask you which ones you have worked in yourself. Strong sales presentation, negotiation, and follow-through skills. The ability to turn inventory availability, pricing, and customer demand into sales opportunities. An independent, organized approach. This position has no direct reports. You will manage both the relationships and the execution. Furniture, home furnishings, big-ticket product, or drop-ship experience is a plus. Familiarity with EDI inventory feeds, Syndigo, Salsify, GS1, and GTINs is helpful. Structure On site in Camarillo. This is an urgent backfill with a short training window. Candidates who can start within two weeks will be prioritized. Horizon Global Partners is an equal opportunity employer.
