In this role, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end import operations, coordinating with vendors, carriers, and internal teams to ensure seamless freight movement and compliance with international trade regulations. Your proactive approach will help optimize warehouse distribution, improve process efficiencies, and ensure timely order fulfillment. Responsibilities Coordinate import shipments by managing transportation planning, freight booking, and customs clearance processes in compliance with international trade regulations. Collaborate with vendors, 3PL providers, and carriers to negotiate rates, optimize shipping logistics, and ensure cost-effective transportation solutions. Utilize transportation management systems (TMS), ERP systems, and warehouse management systems (WMS) to track shipments, update statuses, and resolve any delays or issues promptly. Manage inventory levels through demand planning, stock control, and inventory management systems to support production planning and order fulfillment accuracy. Assist with order fulfillment functions. Oversee shipping & receiving operations including manual handling, materials handling, and warehouse operations to ensure efficient workflow. Maintain compliance with trade policies by practicing in trade compliance standards and staying updated on international trade regulations. Skills Bachelor's degree Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, order processing, inventory management, or supply chain operations Minimum 3 years work experience at a 3 PL Knowledge of shipping regulations, freight forwarding, and customs procedures Proficiency with QuickBooks Enterprise, Microsoft Office Effective written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Bilingual English and Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai or Tagalog is a plus Knowledge of procurement processes including sourcing, vendor management experience, pricing strategies, and category management. Strong understanding of international trade regulations and trade compliance standards necessary for import operations. Effective customer service skills paired with the ability to collaborate across departments for seamless order fulfillment and supply chain coordination.
