Position Summary:
Under the direction of the Client Relations Manager, the Client Relations Coordinator is responsible for assisting clients with questions and concerns, shipping wine and handling all returns. Benchmark Wine Group believes in promoting from within the Company and this is a fantastic opportunity to turn an entry level position into a career in the wine industry. We are seeking a people-friendly, detail-oriented, organized individual who enjoys fulfilling clients' wine needs! The Client Relations Coordinator position requires strong customer service and organizational skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide professional and timely support to client inquiries and concerns Communicate effectively with clients in person, via email, and over the phone Manage orders including pre-arrival, holding, and shipping Schedule wine shipments ensuring weather safety throughout travel path Serve as a liaison between the Sales Department and Warehouse Team Support the Sales Team with order entry, web orders, and internal coordination Process physical Returns with accuracy and attention to detail Manage invoices and coordinate shipping logistics Stay current on domestic shipping regulations and requirements Coordinate customers pick up orders and ensure smooth handoffs Notify clients of any issues with shipments and work to find mutually satisfactory resolutions Collaborate with the Client Relations Manager to process credit card exchanges and returns Assist in development and refinement of departmental procedures Answer and direct phone calls throughout the office Participate in additional activities as needed to support the
Client Relations and Sales Teams Skills & Qualifications:
Excellent client relations skills: ability to create and maintain professional relationships with existing and potential clients Self-directed with high personal quality expectations, as well as a solid team player Exceptional problem-solving/trouble-shooting skills Expertise using Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word An interest or prior knowledge in wine is a plus but is not required to start!
