Job Description
Visit Napa Valley is seeking a detail oriented, professional partner-facing individual to join our team as an Associate, Partner Relations & Events. This position will report to the Director of Partner Relations & Events and be responsible for managing our database of the hundreds of visitor-facing businesses throughout the Napa Valley as well as event management. This position requires that you are detail oriented and enjoy multitasking to maintain accurate partners contacts and manage the calendar of partner touchpoints. You will work with our Napa Valley Welcome Center team to coordinate Partner Pop-ups and other events.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Partner Relations 1. Oversee existing CRM partner list, ensuring that all partner contacts are provided to Visit Napa Valley for the account to be up to date and accurate in Simpleview CRM. 2. Answer partner questions about their partnership and benefits, help troubleshoot any issues and resolve to client satisfaction. 3. Schedule information meetings and provide partner portal trainings, including taking a proactive approach to group trainings when possible. 4. Continuous partner relationship building and maintenance in collaboration with the Sales Team and the Director of Partner Relations & Events 5. Help drive the annual renewal process, striving for 100% renewal rate. 6. Support and assist in identifying and soliciting new partner members. 7. Work closely with Director of Partner Relations & Events to continually improve the partnership program offerings and develop new ideas for partners 8. Constantly review our Premium (highest level) partners to make sure that all of their benefits are being received. 9. Deliver metric reporting for all partners on a regular basis 10. Assist in managing partner account invoicing and accounts receivables. 11. Working within our existing recognition program, work with Director of Partner Relations & Events to develop and implement regular partner recognition strategy to facilitate engagement and connection with VNV. 12. Support VNV content platforms, programs and initiatives by assisting in the development of material to inform, engage and educate community partners. 13. Support the partnership retention program, with a focus on ROI and added value: 14. Oversee revenue processing from new and renewing partnerships. 15. Other duties as assigned. Experiential Events Management 1. Oversee and manage invitations to partner events. 2. Manage ROS and key deadlines for each event and communicate with stakeholders and any other relevant staff. 3. For consumer facing events, communicate key details with marketing for proper promotion of event. 4. Work closely with Director to develop additional event programming that will benefit the partner community. 5. Attend community events that Visit Napa Valley is sponsoring, as needed. 6. Other duties as assigned.Position Specifications:
- 5+ years of experience maintaining and working in a CRM
- Ability to handle sensitive/confidential information.
- Advanced Excel Skills
- Must have the ability to multi-task, attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Resourceful problem solver.
- Superior experience and competency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; strong comfort level to learn to use various other internal software tools.
- Excellent, accurate and professional written & verbal communication.
- Familiarity with or a strong desire to learn about the Napa Valley hospitality, wine, and tourism industries.
