Dance Studio Operations/Client Relations Manager Miss Candice's Dance Center Riverside, CA Job Details Part-time $25 - $27 an hour 4 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication Customer relationship building Greeting customers Client invoicing Bachelor's degree Attention to detail Stocking Office phone management Full Job Description Job Overview Studio Operations & Client Relations Manager Miss Candice's Dance Center is looking for a confident, personable, and highly dependable individual to become an important part of our management team. This is much more than a front desk position. While our Director focuses on our dancers, instructors, and artistic programs, our Studio Operations & Client Relations Manager helps oversee the family and front-of-house side of MCDC . We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys talking with people, can build relationships with our families, and is confident making day-to-day decisions with the best interest of the studio in mind. You should be warm and approachable, but also comfortable handling difficult conversations, enforcing studio policies, and taking charge when unexpected situations arise. Dance experience is not required . Strong people skills, good judgment, reliability, and the ability to learn how MCDC operates are much more important.

Thursdays:
3:45pm-7:45pm Fridays 3:45pm-7:00pm Saturdays 8:45am-12:45pm Responsibilities include: Be a welcoming and knowledgeable point of contact for MCDC families Confidently answer parent questions and resolve everyday concerns Handle difficult or uncomfortable customer situations professionally when needed Make appropriate day-to-day decisions that support the studio and its policies Answer phones, emails, and inquiries Schedule and follow up with trial students, new families, and waitlists Help families choose classes and identify additional classes or programs that may benefit their dancer Promote MCDC programs, performance opportunities, merchandise, dancewear, and boutique items in a natural, helpful way Assist with enrollment, scheduling, invoicing, payments, and account questions Monitor outstanding accounts and follow up when needed Maintain and restock our boutique, dancewear, merchandise, and office supplies Assist families with dance shoes and required class attire Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming lobby and studio Assist with costumes, Picture Day, recitals, events, and recital preparation Help with student retention and recognize when a family may need additional attention Assist with opening and closing procedures Communicate important parent concerns, patterns, and needs to Miss Candice Help keep the customer-facing side of MCDC running smoothly, even during our busiest times The right person for this position is someone who: Is naturally friendly and easy to talk to Can quickly read a situation and adjust their approach Is confident without being intimidating Isn't afraid to have a difficult conversation when necessary Can enforce policies kindly but firmly Has strong judgment and knows when to make a decision versus when something needs to be brought to the Director Is comfortable recommending additional classes and products without making families feel like they're being "sold" something Notices what needs to be done and takes initiative Is highly organized and detail-oriented Can multitask in a busy environment without becoming overwhelmed Is dependable, punctual, and trustworthy Understands that great customer service isn't always saying "yes"—it's making families feel heard while protecting the needs of the studio Wants to become a consistent and important part of the MCDC community This position plays a major role in the experience our families have at MCDC. We're looking for someone who can learn our studio, know our families, take ownership of their responsibilities, and help create the friendly, organized, professional environment we want every family to experience when they walk through our doors. Dance knowledge can be taught. Confidence, good judgment, initiative, and the ability to connect with people are what we're really looking for.
Pay:
$25.00 - $27.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 30.0 per week Application Question(s): Availability for in person interview
