Job Description
WHAT'S THE JOB
?As an Account Manager, you'll lead a dedicated team and oversee onsite custodial services. You'll be the face of Dexterra, responsible for delivering exceptional service, managing budgets, ensuring safety, and driving operational excellence. Building strong client relationships and inspiring diverse teams across the country, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of facilities management—while advancing your career into a leadership position that makes a real impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead revenue growth and ensure profitability for assigned accountsBuild and maintain strong client relationships through excellent service deliveryProvide strategic and operational leadership across a portfolio of commercial janitorial contracts within government and public sector environments.

Manage, mentor, and inspire on-site teams to achieve performance goalsIdentify and pursue new business opportunities to drive account growthConduct regular site visits and quality audits to ensure adherence to service and compliance standards.

Oversee resource planning, scheduling, and workforce optimizationRecruit, onboard, and train team members to support operational successEnsure compliance with safety standards and quality assurance protocolsDrive client satisfaction and long-term account retentionQualifications
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
?Minimum of 2 years of management experience and directing a team in facility services or related fieldProficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and other software applicationsAbility to effectively use hand-held computer technologyProven experience in recruiting, training, retaining and managing employee performance, including progressive disciplineStrong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients at all levelsAbility to maintain excellent relations with People - employees, client and customersFamiliar with health, safety and environmental management systemsA clear criminal record check is required for this role.
