You will use your knowledge of insurance products and services to help customers understand their options and make informed decisions. You will also work with Agent to promote State Farm products and services and to achieve agency goals.
Responsibilities :
Answer customer inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverage, policy changes, claims process, billing, and account information. Prepare and complete applications for submission to underwriters. Develop leads and schedule appointments. Identify current customer needs and market appropriate products and services. Work with Agent to promote and sell State Farm products, primarily with current customers or inbound leads. Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.
Qualifications:
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong customer service skills. Knowledge of insurance products and services. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Required :
Property & Casualty License Preferred :
Life & Health License (must be able to obtain).
Benefits :
Hourly pay plus commission/bonus. Opportunity to advance to full-time position with benefits (medical allowance, PTO, sick days). This position is with a State Farm independent contractor agent, not with State Farm Insurance Companies. Employees of State Farm agents must be able to successfully complete any applicable licensing requirements and training programs. State Farm agents are independent contractors who hire their own employees. State Farm agents' employees are not employees of State Farm.
