Role:
At North Range Behavioral Health, we know that timely access to care can change lives, and it starts behind the scenes with strong, reliable systems. As the Authorizations & Enrollment Supervisor, you'll play a key role in breaking down barriers to care by ensuring clients can access services quickly and seamlessly. In this role your responsibilities will span enrollment, eligibility verification, and prior authorizations, keeping processes efficient, accurate, and fully aligned with payer requirements. You will partner closely with clinical and billing teams to streamline workflows, reduce denials, and solve challenges in real time, all while championing a client centered approach. We are looking for a collaborative leader who thrives on building high-performing teams, improving processes, and making meaningful impact. You work will directly support access to behavioral health services and help ensure out community receives the care they deserve, without delay.
What You Will Do:
Lead and support the Authorization & Enrollment team, ensuring strong daily operations, balanced workloads, and consistent coverage to keep services running smoothly. Champion timely, accurate eligibility verification and authorization, helping remove barriers so clients can access care without delay. Design and refine workflows that improve turnaround times, reduce denials, and create a more seamless experience for both clients and staff. Stay ahead of payer requirements, translating complex policies into clear, actionable processes for the team. Partner closely with clinical teams to ensure documentation supports medical necessity and efficient authorization submission. Ensure all authorization decisions and documentation are accurately tracked, recorded and compliant across systems. Build and maintain clear, standardized procedures, tools, and quality controls that support consistency and long-term success. Recruit, coach, and develop a high-performing team, fostering growth, accountability, and continuous learning. Collaborate with payers and internal partners to resolve issues, clarify requirements, and keep services moving forward. Identify trends in delays or denials and lead solutions that improve outcomes and strengthen processes across departments. Monitory performance metrics, share insights with leadership, and drive ongoing improvements in quality and productivity. Communicate proactively with leadership, escalating critical issues and helping guide effective solutions. Partner with billing teams to support appeals and resolve authorization-related denials. Great Fit If You:
Have a High School Diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree in a related field are preferred. Minimum of 2 years experience in behavioral health enrollment, eligibility, authorizations, or a related healthcare administrative role. Have the ability to pass a background check, including fingerprinting, drug screening, and a tb test.
