About Wild Zora & Flatiron Food Factory Wild Zora is our healthy & portable food brand, and Flatiron is our manufacturer of freeze-dried bovine organ powders for the nutraceutical and pharmaceutical industries. From our USDA & FDA-certified facility in Loveland, Colorado, we develop, manufacture, package, and distribute products nationwide across multiple food brands and sales channels. We are a growing, family-owned company looking for an Inside Sales Account Manager who can help manage existing customer relationships, develop new opportunities, and ensure that customer orders are executed accurately from initial inquiry through delivery and payment. This is not simply a sales-support or administrative role. The right person will gradually take ownership of customer accounts and become an important part of our sales team. What You'll Do Account Management & Customer Relationships Manage an assigned portfolio of existing customer accounts. Develop strong relationships with retailers, distributors, brokers, food-service customers, brands, and other business partners. Serve as a primary point of contact for customer questions, orders, pricing, documentation, and problem resolution. Maintain regular communication with customers and identify opportunities to expand existing business. Develop familiarity with key company accounts and provide account coverage when other members of the sales team are unavailable. Work closely with sales leadership while independently managing assigned accounts and customer-development initiatives. Inside Sales & Lead Management Respond quickly and professionally to inbound sales inquiries and warm leads. Qualify opportunities and manage follow-up through our CRM. Prepare quotes, pricing information, samples, product specifications, and sales materials. Follow up consistently with prospects and customers. Participate in selected outbound prospecting and business-development initiatives. Help move opportunities from initial inquiry through purchase order. Order Management & Customer Execution Coordinate customer orders from purchase order through production, shipment, delivery, and invoicing. Work closely with Operations to confirm inventory, production schedules, and ship dates. Keep customers proactively informed about order status and delivery expectations. Coordinate required documentation including product specifications, COAs, BOLs, invoices, and other customer documents. Help ensure products arrive accurately, on time, and in excellent condition. Identify problems before they affect customers and work across departments to resolve them quickly. Sales Operations & CRM Maintain accurate customer, opportunity, and sales activity information in our CRM. Help improve sales processes, customer follow-up systems, and account organization. Maintain current price lists, product information, customer documentation, and sales materials. Assist with sales forecasting and account planning. Pull and analyze sales data using Excel or Google Sheets. Provide sales KPIs and reporting to company leadership. Accounting & Collections Coordination Work with Accounting to establish customer credit terms and ensure invoicing accuracy. Help monitor outstanding receivables and assist with customer follow-up when appropriate. Help resolve pricing, invoice, deduction, and payment issues professionally. Trade Shows & Business Development Assist with trade-show planning and execution. Coordinate samples, materials, meeting schedules, and customer follow-up. Participate in selected industry events and customer meetings. Help evaluate new sales opportunities and potential markets. What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who combines the organizational skills of a great account coordinator with the relationship skills and commercial instincts of a salesperson. Experience & Skills 2+ years of professional office experience, preferably in sales, account management, customer service, CPG, food, manufacturing, or a related environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational ability and attention to detail. Comfortable managing multiple customers, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously. Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills. Experience working with CRM software such as HubSpot or Salesforce. Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite is a strong plus. Comfortable learning and using modern software and AI tools to improve productivity. Ability to communicate professionally with customers, vendors, executives, production employees, and other departments. Compensation Base Salary:
$45,000-$55,000 per year In addition to base salary, this position includes performance-based commissions and/or bonuses. A successful employee should reasonably expect total annual compensation in the range of approximately $65,000-$75,000+ , depending on account responsibility and sales performance. Our facility manufactures meat-based food products, so applicants should be comfortable working in a food-production environment where meat products are processed.
