Full Job Description Summary:
Royal Shell Vacations, Southwest Florida's leader in luxury vacation rentals, is seeking an experienced Owner Relations Manager to support our growing business, as well as to bring in additional vacation properties to our program. In this role you will be responsible for direct communication with the owners in the Royal Shell Vacations Rental program as well as acquiring new owners for the rental program. Experience in the Vacation rental business is required - specifically someone who has success in bringing in and onboarding new vacation rental properties. Earn commissions, in addition to a base salary, for new properties you bring into the program. This position maintains an organized, efficient and professional environment for our guests, owners, employees and intercompany resources to interact with. Excellent communication, strong interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor and presentation are essential. Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Serve as the company ambassador in the sales effort and the solicitation of new rental inventory; working with potential owners through the on-boarding process. Coordinate with other departments pertaining to owner relations Strong understanding of the vacation rental office; including reservations, marketing, competitive pricing, housekeeping, and maintenance. Determine and propose weekly and monthly rental rates, adjusted for seasonal demand. Provide accurate and timely information to accounting to aid the receivable and payable processes. Efficiently and accurately enter data into a variety of operating systems and electronic databases as it relates to the homeowner files. Assist guests and owners through the delivery exceptional service; following up on service issues with appropriate remedy as needed. Assists owners with questions regarding reservations, work orders and accounting statements. Visit properties to review condition and communicate and advise owner. Rotate as manager on call to handle after hours situations with guests and owner. All other duties as assigned. Regular and reliable attendance.
Education/Experience:
High School Diploma or GED required College degree preferred 3+ years of vacation rental experience, including bringing in new properties, pricing and onboarding. 3+ years business experience 3+ years sales experience
Certificates and Licenses:
Valid driver's license Hospitality courses
Knowledge, Skills and Other Abilities:
Computer skills, including MS Office, Word, Excel. Must have vacation rental or related service industry experience Strong written communication and verbal/telephone skills are essential Exceptional follow up Previous management or supervisory experience preferred Ability to work flexible hours, weekend and on call work required Personal knowledge of the local business and surrounding communities in which our homes are located.
