Full-Time About the Company We are a fast-growing traffic control and equipment rental company in Pooler, GA, serving contractors, utility providers, municipalities, and infrastructure projects. We are expanding to the Greater Atlanta Area. We have a strong commitment to safety, reliability, and customer service. We provide traffic control solutions and equipment rentals that keep projects moving efficiently and safely. Position Summary The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, business development, fleet and equipment management, financial performance, and employee leadership. Candidates must have at least two (2) years of direct traffic control experience and a proven track record of leading teams, managing operations, and maintaining safety compliance in roadway, utility, or construction environments. Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Operations- Direct all daily traffic control and equipment rental operations.
- Lead and manage field personnel, office staff, dispatchers, and supervisors.
- Develop operational strategies to improve efficiency, safety, and profitability. Safety & Compliance
- Maintain compliance with OSHA, GDOT, MUTCD, and local regulatory requirements.
- Lead safety initiatives and ensure crews are properly trained and certified. Fleet & Equipment Management
- Oversee fleet utilization, maintenance programs, and equipment availability.
- Manage inventory of traffic control devices, signage, and rental equipment. Financial Management
- Manage budgets, financial reporting, and operational expenses.
- Review contracts, proposals, and pricing strategies. Business Development & Customer Relations
- Build relationships with contractors, municipalities, utility companies, and developers throughout Metro Atlanta.
- Identify new business opportunities and support company growth initiatives. QualificationsRequired
- Minimum 2 years of leadership or general management experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in traffic control operations.
- Experience in traffic control, construction services, equipment rental, utility services, transportation, or a related industry.
- Strong understanding of OSHA, GDOT, and MUTCD traffic control standards and regulations.
- Experience managing budgets, KPIs, and profitability.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Preferred
- Traffic Control Supervisor (TCS) Certification.
- OSHA 30 Certification.
- Experience working with GDOT projects and roadway construction.
- Experience in fleet management and equipment rental operations. Compensation & Benefits
