Discover all the possibilities of a career at Northside today. Responsibilities Responsible for updating the patient information and handling all third party billing appropriately. Responsible for following up on accounts receivable and resolving delinquent accounts. Responsible for performing all duties in accordance with Practice policies and procedures. Qualifications
REQUIRED
1. High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED). 2. 1 year insurance collections/AR receivables experience 3. Detail oriented and able to handle multiple tasks. 4. Able to communicate with insurance representatives and patients in a professional manner. 5. Knowledge of HMO, PPO, Managed Care and Indemnity plans 6. Knowledge of current ICD codes and CPT codes 7. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing good customer service
PREFERRED
1. Knowledge of healthcare receivables and collections, including denial and appeal processes.
