Excellent Job Description We are seeking a Regional Account Manager responsible for driving revenue growth within an assigned geographic territory through sales of aftermarket parts, Equipment Modernization Programs (EMP), service contracts, and new equipment .
Key Responsibilities Sales Strategy & Management:
Develop and execute sales strategies to gain market share, develop new accounts, expand customer relationships, and grow existing core aftermarket accounts.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong customer relationships while keeping accurate information on customers, prospects, equipment, opportunities, and assigned activities within the company CRM.
Cost Calculations & Proposals:
Prepare cost calculations and formal product offers in accordance with technical feedback and regional budgets.
Internal Collaboration:
Partner with Project Management, Inside Sales, Engineering, Technical Centers, Service, and other key stakeholders.
Sales Process Optimization:
Stay informed about market trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies while identifying opportunities to improve sales processes and approaches.
Reporting & Forecasting:
Provide weekly activity reports and itineraries and prepare regular territory forecasts.
Contract Negotiation:
Negotiate with clients to secure sales and support long-term business relationships.
Qualifications & Technical Skills Education:
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience:
Minimum 3 years of outside industrial sales experience . Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office. Experience with CRM software; Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred . Ability to read AutoCAD drawings . Valid passport and driver's license in good standing. Must be familiar with blast equipment and its operation or possess equivalent mechanical experience . Additional Responsibilities Establish sales goals, develop sales plans, and implement strategies to drive revenue growth. Maintain accurate cost calculation and pricing databases for local products/services with support from Purchasing, external suppliers, and Service teams. Build strong customer relationships, understand customer requirements, and ensure customer satisfaction. Communicate effectively with Inside Sales, Engineering, Applications, Service Technicians, other Norican brand representatives, and internal personnel. Collaborate with Product Development, Engineering, and Marketing teams to align sales activities with company objectives. Identify opportunities to improve sales processes, methods, and approaches. Promote other Norican lines of business when appropriate and share relevant customer leads and project information for follow-up and qualification when permitted. Submit expense reports on time.
