Job Description
$135,000 total compensation ($100,000 base + commission) plus full benefits! Other companies make products. We have the "one of a kind" product line that sells itself. Invented more than 100 years ago, evolved through the years as we have expanded our line, it remains the brand that sells itself. Responsibilities:
Maintain key accounts while also allowing for business development including selling new products, giving training presentations, creating proposals, and attending trade shows, strategic meetings, and client outings. Responsible for high-level liaison to domestic and international markets through regular face-to-face meetings (30-40% travel domestically and internationally). Manage and negotiate proposals and contracts. Maintain and grow high-level relationships with key accounts with a clear understanding of the account's organization, key decision makers and influencers, brand management, etc. in order to determine strategy for increasing account penetration and cross-selling opportunities. Focus on customer satisfaction, be able to penetrate the account in order to gain sales through expansion of product line and services provided. Provide solutions and innovative ideas to solve clients' problems. Work closely with leadership in development and delivery of account strategies, goals and plans. Stay up to date with and understand latest market developments and trends and be fully aware of competition status. Implement industry strategies on a regional basis, provide input with marketplace and account feedback.Requirements:
Bachelor's degree strongly preferred but not required. 2+ years of sales experience, outside preferred but will entertain candidates who have inside experience and are wanting to take the next step. Potential incumbent must show a stable work history, and have an infectious likeability coupled with a strong but humble confidence. Ability to manage accounts with key decision makers to meet their needs and maximize opportunity. Ability to engage, negotiate and sell relevant products and services. Product sales preferred, competent in the area of quality standards. Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills. Possess strong work ethics and excellent client service skills to ensure effective, responsive client interaction (internal and external). Must be personable and work well independently, as well as in a team environment. Must be willing to travel up to 30-40%, overnight both domestically and internationally.
