Job Description

Basic Functions & Objectives:
The Account Manager role at Online Transport is a critical role that works to support our professional drivers and customers while achieving stated goals. This professional will need to have exceptional communication skills and a strong ability to multitask while paying attention to detail. Maintaining and further developing strong relationships with current customers. Work with your leader and team members to develop cross-coverage training plans and other duties as assigned. Provide input and suggestions on process improvement ideas.
Responsibilities:
Data Entry, scheduling, shipment tracking, and status updates for customers. Updating Customer Portals, when required. Ensure all paperwork is entered for each load (ie tender, BOL, lumper receipt etc) Developing creative problem solving procedures through experience and abstract thinking. Communicate with Driver Leaders regarding pickups, deliveries, issues, and concerns. Develop countermeasures to provide best in class service.
Job Requirements:
Experience in the trucking industry dispatching and/or driver management is preferred. Great attitude and troubleshooting abilities. Good understanding of FMCSR's (Hours of Service and Axle Weight & Spacing). Ability to work independently is a must. Must be exceptional with driver and customer relations. TMW Experience Required Previous Truckload Experience Required Ability to efficiently use Windows and Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook)
