Job Description

Account Recovery Specialist ACI Indiana (also known as Atlas Collections, Inc.) has served the community at large for almost 40 years by returning past due funds back to businesses in Henry County and its surrounding areas. The Account Recovery Specialist is responsible for contacting consumers and collecting outstanding debts. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong communication and negotiation skills, as well as an ability to work independently and as a member of the team.
Please note:
This is NOT a remote position. All employees are expected to work on-site during regular business hours from Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage and monitor a queue of outstanding debts. Contact consumers regarding debts and repayment of overdue balances. Negotiate arrangements and payoffs with consumers. Investigate historical information for each debt. Update and track collection activity and collection efforts. Escalate accounts through the local legal system. Provide friendly, accurate, and compliant information to consumers and clients. Handle disputes and/or complaints. Investigate and resolve discrepancies in payments/accounts. Follow all regulations that govern collection agencies and collection activities. Follow all policies and procedures as set forth by management. Other duties as assigned.
