Job Description

Account Manager Workforce Brokers is seeking an experienced and dynamic Account Manager to oversee events and ensure exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in catering and hospitality management, along with excellent leadership skills to effectively coordinate banquets, events, and staff. The Account Manager is responsible for supervising staff and overseeing event operations across hotels, restaurants, and private events. This role serves as a liaison between service teams and operational personnel, with a primary focus on delivering high-quality customer service while ensuring seamless execution of large-scale events. Key Responsibilities Coordinate banquet setup, service, and breakdown Supervise banquet staff, including servers and bartenders Ensure compliance with food safety standards and quality control procedures Manage inventory control for banquet supplies and beverages Oversee event execution to ensure client expectations are met or exceeded Provide exceptional customer service throughout the event Conduct pre-event meetings with staff to review event details and service expectations Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally Train and mentor staff on service standards, etiquette, and event protocols Qualifications & Requirements Proven experience in banquet operations, catering, hospitality management, or a related field Strong leadership and team management skills Knowledge of POS systems for order processing and payment handling Experience with Aloha POS or similar systems preferred Bartending experience is a plus Culinary or food production knowledge is beneficial Ability to plan and manage budgets effectively Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs Experience interviewing, training, and developing banquet staff Extensive knowledge of hospitality industry standards and best practices Bilingual (English/Spanish) required Ability to identify and resolve issues in real time Availability to work long hours and flexible schedules, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays Reliable transportation to travel to various event locations Why Join Workforce Brokers? $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
